Hi world! Here is my first entry for the #wrapunzeledinpurple week! I love this tichel sooooo much! It’s the pashmina from the truffleberry kit, an ombre sparkle 2 in 1, and a sequin headband. Felt SO ‘me’!
My outfit was simple; an old swishy sweat skirt that I got in Israel (perfect for rehearsals!), a purple top with a white shell underneath… and my highschool era fuzzy jean jacket!
Hope you’re all having as much fun being #wrapunzeledinpurple as I am!
Love, Andrea

Here are two outfits that I wore this Shabbat and last Shabbat! Can you tell that I’m feeling the Shimmeries and the twists lastely?
This Shabbat I was soooo excited to wear my Mulberry Shimmery with one of the new Empress Circlets… did my classic two shimmery wrap (tutorial here) and was good to go! Happy!
Wishing us all a connected, safe, unified, and light-filled week ❤

Hi everybody! We had a great time this week #wrapunzeledinsilver! This was a challenging color, since lots of us don’t have solid silver-colored scarves, so we opened it up a bit: pewter, grey, scarves with silver detailing, or even just silver accessories. It was great to see all the creativity that went on as ladies figured out how to work silver into a wrap. Someone even did a spoof wrap using aluminum foil!!! Can you spot it in the collage?
New for this week, we’re going to roll our round-up post and next week’s color announcement into one! So after you peruse these lovely photos, you’ll find next week’s adventure (and hashtag) listed at the bottom of the post. To join in the fun, come on over to the Wrapunzel Fangroup and share your pictures there, or email them to us with “Color of the Week” as the subject line! We’ll be back on Friday with next week’s round-up – stay tuned!
Woohoo! Thanks everyone for your wonderful submissions!! And without further ado….. next week’s color is…. PURPLE!! Please join us on the Fangroup or share your pics via email, using the hashtag #wrapunzeledinpurple! Wrap in purple with us on Tuesday (or later in the week is fine, if you can’t make it by then) – solid purple is great, of course, but feel free to pair it with another color, or experiment with purple accessories! For your picture to make it into next week’s blog post, we will need to receive it by Thursday. Can’t wait to see what you create!

This morning I had a photoshoot with my friend Khadijah for her book, so I got all decked out! I recreated my previous Shabbat outfit and wanted to share with you how I did the whole ruffled waves pouf on the side!
Here is a not high quality photo… will post photos from the photoshoot later!
And here is the tutorial!

Here’s how to do an awesome flower with a square scarf!
As you can see in the photos above, this technique can be used to cover your whole head with a scarf (1st pic) or to use as a fancy sash! The last one shows how to put a pin in the flower to make it flatter 🙂 Enjoy! Shabbat shalom, world!

This outfit from Miri was my inspiration to finally make a video about this! There’s lots more to say on the subject, so send in your questions and we’ll talk about it some more!

Maybe it happened in a dream, but I seriously remember doing a post about burgundy and brown in a past post! Didn’t I?
Well, since I can’t find it, I’ll just have to do it again!
My family had a crazzzzy wacko day. It started off with my phone refusing to work so I couldn’t do my scheduled calls/meetings, then became a day that we needed to take off our regular work schedules because my husband is in search of a better violin (if anyone has gone through this process you can imagine how much more time consuming it is; we were prepared for this, but not prepared for how much more time consuming it is when you’re no longer a student and have a baby), then lo and behold my husband’s phone decided to also go loco while in the suburbs of DC and we got majorly lost, only to get back on track, charge phone, go to the violin dealerships (Shalomy loved it!) and then have his phone fizz out again in the middle of an unfamiliar neighborhood in Baltimore. We just got back home at 10pm with new phones thank Gd, both of us wondering at what Hashem was trying to teach us during this odd, obstacle-y, ironic, fun, and gratitude-filled day.
In front of an instrument shop
Anyway, my outfit today made me happy… love this color combo! I also loved pairing some new accessories together; the plaid headband and the new flower pin looked great with the lakeshore bliss and the burgundy 2 in 1! I had a super cozy sweater that I wore most of the day when it was cold, but my husband snapped these photos when the sun was out 🙂
Here are some photos of my tichel in a violin shop! (You can’t see here, but Shalomy is crawling at my feet 😛 )
Hope you all had a great day!
Love, Andrea

Remember back in the day when I used to post my wrap/outfit more often? I need to start doing that again! Here are some outfits that I’ve worn over the last week! My camera has been in for repair, so apologies for the sub standard photos! All of these outfits have hints of black in them (yes I’m searching for a theme) 🙂
This is a jacket that I’ve had since I was 16… and I just found it at my in-law’s during our trip to Israel! SO happy to be wearing it again!
And a pretty grey dress, white jean jacket with a tichel to match!
And here is my fave… I really enjoyed the jean jacket with the lace top! I’m off to teach some littlies in this photo. I LOVED this tichel! It felt so ‘me’!!
Hope you enjoy!
Love, Andrea

We all love watching and learning from Wrapunzel’s tutorials online, but one of our most asked questions is: “Can I please come learn from you in person??”

This week on the Wrapunzel Fangroup, we kicked off our color-of-the-week idea: each week, we’d choose a color, publicize it on the Fangroup and right here on the blog, and ladies could share their wraps featuring that color via the Fangroup or by emailing them to us.
Of course we couldn’t just pick ONE color for the first-ever color of the week, so we picked ALL of them! Here are some of our amazing wrap stars, #Wrapunzeledinallthecolors. We love the bright patterns, rainbows, layers and sari scarves that everyone used to celebrate this week of multicolored awesomeness.
We’ll be back on Sunday with a new color for next week! If you want to join in, come on over to the Fangroup, or share your pics with us by emailing them to wrapunzelthestore@gmail.com with “Color of the Week” as the subject line. Without further ado, enjoy this week’s round-up!
