Decided to wrap The Naomi Knot today and instead of putting my necklace around my neck (who does that!? lol) I thought it might do better on my head! I’m loving it, and haven’t even added earrings or makeup! What do you think?

You’ve seen this scarf before… but I’m obsessed!!
Hi ladies!! Check out this new way to wrap your sari scarf! It’s a normal tie, just with the lines on an angle… and then the pin is placed at the top of the head instead of the side like I’m used to! Yay happy experiments! What do you think?
And do y’all think it’s about time I got myself another sari scarf? 😛
Hope you’re all having a beautiful day!
Love, Andrea
Casual Scarf Made Formal
This scarf is one of the first tichels that I purchased. I love its versatility, but had never worn it in a formal setting. I decided to try it out! Who knew that with a little extra height and a sparkly pin, this scarf could be just as fancy as the rest of ’em! The elastic in the scarf kept everything put for the whole night, and the pin held everything together with a little extra security. I will definitely be trying this one again!
A Silk Wonder!
This scarf, given to me by my mother-in-law, is one of my summer favourites. It’s made of crushed silk, so it’s light and low maintenance. The colour changes on the scarf make it look like I’m wearing more than one when really, it feels so light – like I’m barely wearing anything! For this wrap, I am not wearing the volumizer… just my hair tied up high and the velvet headband with the scarf (it’s hot outside!)
Deep Ocean Hues
I love this scarf. Mostly because my husband got it for me, but also because it is so versatile and makes it look like I am wearing more than one. And the colour. Of course the best thing is the colour. Keep an eye out for scarves with wide vertical stripes like this!
In these photos, I am wearing a basic regal wrap with a brooch added for a little extra sparkle.
Basic Regal Wrap
This stretch scarf matched my turquoise skirt beautifully! You can find a detailed tutorial on how to do this wrap (and many variations) here.
New Favourite
Here it is – the over/under wrap with a beautiful bow embellishment! If you want to try this, make sure the top scarf is thin enough to work with the bow. I think this is one of my current favourites!
It’s the simple things…
… that seem to get the most notice 🙂
Yesterday for a performance, I wore this square “silk” scarf (it can’t be silk… cost 10nis aka <$3 in the Jerusalem market) with a complimentary headband. Instead of letting the tails hang down the back, I pulled them to the side. Of course, everyone that commented on it was surprised to find out that this is something I do every day and wasn’t just for fashion.
The Switcheroo
So… I started the day off with a beautiful navy and turquoise wrap:
But someone (*cough) didn’t account for the purse/backpack straps that I would be taking on and off all day, so a switch was needed because the hanging tails kept getting tangled. Luckily I brought along a hat! So now the rest of the day will be spent in this:
I really like this hat! It matches so much of my wardrobe and is the perfect size.
Hope you’re all having a lovely day!
