It’s been a coupla months since I was in the holy land, but the impact hasn’t waned! I stopped posting photos while there because of the political situation, but they are such joyous photos and I really want to share them with you!! Here are some of the tichels and head coverings I wore and places I went in them! Enjoy the kedusha!

I hope you enjoyed these!!! Wish you could have been there with me! Would love to hear your thoughts!!

Lovely pics, thank you! Really like the brown NYB with the brown 2 in 1, the colours are so rich and earthy. Also I love the butterfly brooches you have on your website, especially the solid colour polished ones, any pics of them you’ve worn with scarves would be great to see!

My husband and I went to Israel back in 2001. I miss being there:( We were there during the intifada and although things were going on around us we still felt protected, weird but true! Lovely pictures Thank You Andrea 🙂

I love your outfit for Shabbat. How did you fit the hat on over the tichel? Did you just not use the volumizer? Also, looks like the snood is crocheted? I used to crochet hat so if so, it gives me an idea. By the way, need more of the Israeli scarves. I love them and colors are getting low. Thanks for the photos.

It didn’t! I just couldn’t find the correct voice for posting tichel photos 🙂

Just stunning! I was wondering– it looks like you guys are out of the plain brown New York Bright on the site. Do you know if you will be restocking these any time soon? I can’t wait to try some of these looks! Thank you!

Love the brown 2-in-1 and NYB!! How do you tie the “2-strands” braid so that it doesn’t come undone? I’ve been looking to do that for a while without success!!! It’s so pretty!

Ooh what way did you tie your tichel under the floppy sun hat? Did you ever wear a visor with a tichel? It seems quite popular here in Israel at the moment

I love your clothing and head coverings. I’ve always liked covering my head, at least in the colder months and when I’m having a bad hair day, which is most days, but I don’t attend a church that believes the scriptures on head coverings are still relevant today. When I do cover, I seem to come under criticism with an almost reverse legalism. Thank the good Lord for grace. I don’t know what we’d do without it, since there are so many disagreements among faith groups and scholars.

I love your style! I’m not Jewish but I want to dress modestly and I’m partly inspired my modern-orthodox female clothing.
