Renaissance Wraps

Autumn is on our minds, if not yet in the climate. And autumn means the start of Renaissance Faires and many other types of seasonal festivals. So why not get out and enjoy the crisp, clear weather when it comes and take in a merry time or two? There are so many wrap styles you can choose, but why not take the ‘everything old is new again’ approach and try a Medieval style? A few of our Sweet Wrapunzelistas have taken the plunge to give these styles a try as of late – and so can you! Here’s a look at some of these ‘throw way back’ wrap styles – you’re gonna love them!

To start things off, here’s our gorgeous model, Sarah at the opening weekend of the Maryland Renaissance Festival!

This was my wrap for opening weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Festival – gold jazzy scarf, olive shinylicious, and a plum sari sash in a veil wrap!

Here’s Andrea looking stunning and authentic all wrapped for the Faire. Check out the mini-cloak she fashioned out of a scarf and a ring fastener!

And here she is in her famous “Girl with a Pearl Earring” look (this photo was achieved with a filter)!

Keep scrolling, because here are the many Renaissance looks of the fabulous Olivia! A gifted wrapper and seamstress as well, Olivia is simply amazing in her self-fashioned wrap creations!

Here is the magnificent Megan, sporting some very ‘Faire’ styles, too.

Here’s Elli in her incredible Iron Age ensemble!

And here’s the lovely Naomi Rose with Andrea at the Maryland Renaissance Festival!

Now don’t fret, dear Wrapunzelistas…these wrap styles aren’t just for the experienced wrapper. Wrapunzel has tutorials to get you well on your way to Renaissance authenticity. Here are just a few.
