Living Paradox: Thank You Mr. Spock – and a Trekkie Tichel :)

The Star Trek character Spock, played by Leonard Nimoy who passed away last week, has had a profound impact on my life.  Thank you Mr. Spock and Leonard Nimoy for helping for teaching me how to live in the paradox of this world.  Here’s the story:

  1. This was so so wonderful. Thank you for sharing it seems that all I say most of the time is Thank You. But most of the time that covers it. I am so great full for all you post and all you share.

Andrea, being much older than you (probably more your parents’ age, I grew up (thanks to my brother, too) watching Star Trek in the original. You expressed it quite well when you mention having control only of our choices. Leonard Nimoy brought something to the Spock character as well as go our lives. Nimoy will be missed.

One question: I love the gold tichel next to your face. Is it a shimmery? How did you create this look? What tichels did you use and ties. I love the way the ends hang down, too. I have a hard time using the shimmery tichels. Please describe or show us how you did this look.

    Thanks.

    1. Hi Diane! Thank you! I am wearing a dark gold limited edition shimmery underneath, and just tucked the ends around the back messily without caring because it is all covered by the blue pashmina. The blue pashmina is tied in the same way as The Tapestry tutorial (you can find in on youtube and in the post right before this one!) Super easy!
