The Wrapunzel Foundation

Hey ladies,

Since this started off as my personal blog, I figure that I can write a personal post.  I honestly have no words right now… I am shaking with tears of joy.  Something that I have been dreaming of doing, which I thought was not possible, has finally become a reality.  And it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some incredible women.

I want to write more, but I am so overwhelmed with gratitude that I know it’s just time to share with you what we’re up to here at Wrapunzel.

Here’s a video I made this morning telling you what’s going on:

I am a fan. Not just a fan of tichels or Wrapunzel but of the enthusiasm, generosity and light emanating from the whole Wrapunzel community! Thank you to everyone and especially Andrea for building this community and now this new foundation!

As a retired RN I am so pleased to see others giving how ever they can give to those in need. It doesn’t matter how big or small, but just to give. Thank you Andrea and many blessings to you.I received my first package today of the Ultimate Shaper in black and in white, and also a lovely black dewdrop Sparkle scarf. I am so happy with my purchase. My hair is thinning as I age and I am overjoyed with this technique of hair wrapping. I love the way I look with a fancy scarf wrapped around my hair now. It is so elegant.

This is so fitting for the amazing women/store/blog you (Andrea) and the rest of Wrapunzel are. You have all created a movement that has so much momentum 🙂

Andrea is it possible to donate via Paypal on the Wrapunzel store checkout? A tick box donation concept similar to that used on ebay or a Wrapunzel Foundation section in the store. That way it stays in our minds to help others every time we purchase a new scarf.

That site won’t accept my card…most likely because I’m European and confusing the system.

    Yishar koach!

I just finished watching the video about this on You Tube. What a wonderful, wonderful thing! I am going to be purchasing some more items from the Wrapunzel store soon…my question is this: How do I go about including a donation with my purchase? Please post something on the “mechanics” of how to go about it. It would be an honor to contribute what I can to facilitate your beautiful gift, so more women can reap the comfort and joy to be found in this simple, yet powerful art form (and yes…it is, indeed, an art form)

    So happy for you! 🙂

Hi Andrea, I had an email sent me that I was eligible for the care kit on the 18 September, so far I have not had anything despite asking whether it has been lost in transit. This is what I said to Yehudis Hi, Lesley!
We apologize about the lateness, but we have some exciting news! You’ve been selected to receive our next free Care Kit! We’re so excited to get this sent over to you, but before we do, are there any changes to your address or preferences?

Look forward to hearing from you.
    Kind regards
    Lesley Day
