Wrapunzeled in Brown!

Here’s last week’s Color of the Week collage! Loved seeing everyone #wrapunzeledinbrown. To join in next week, check out the directions (and next week’s color) at the bottom of the post! Thank you everyone for your beautiful submissions!

Next week’s color will be…. TEAL!!! We know you’re going to go nuts with this one! Head on over to the Wrapunzel Fangroup and share your pictures using the hashtag #wrapunzeledinteal – if you would also like them featured on next week’s blog post, make sure to also post them in the comments on the pinned post at the top of the Fangroup page so we know to share them. If you’re not on Facebook, you can also email us your pictures with the subject line “Color of the Week.” Can’t wait to see what you create!!

I have no clue what I am doing wrong. I posted my photos for last week to the fan group page with the hashtag wrapunzeledinbrown and I still didn’t make it into the blog post 😔

Hi! We don’t pick up every picture that uses the hashtag because it would be a privacy issue. Using the hashtag doesn’t guarantee that someone is okay with us putting their picture from the Fangroup (which is private) on this blog (which is public). That’s why we have a method to make sure we have your permission. As in the directions in this blog post, and on the pinned post on the Fangroup, submissions need to be posted within the comments on the pinned post at the top of the Fangroup page. Otherwise you can also submit via email! The reason we ask for the pics to be submitted in such a specific manner is that we need to verify that those pictures are approved by you to post on a public blog – not everyone who is using the hashtag on the private Fangroup would want their pictures shared on a public site.

These are always such a great source of inspiration! The artistry of these wonderful ladies is truly a sight to behold.

I have been wearing my headwraps out in public for a few weeks now, pretty much everywhere except for my place of employment (since I do not have a religious mandate that would let me ask for suck an accommodation).

Think I am just about ready to post a couple of photos for this fun collaboration, though I am still a “one-scarf” type of gal 🙂
