“The Naomi Knot” Tutorial

Wowwwww what a response to the last post!  You all really wanted a tutorial, and I wanted to figure out new ways of doing this awesome Naomi Wrap… so here you go!

Sooooo what should we call it??  I have already thought of “The Naomi” but that probably won’t work because I have a feeling we will have many more wraps on here inspired by her!  Something with the word “Knots”?  But nothing “knotty” please :p

  1. I’ve been wondering, how do you keep the twisted part from sliding off the back of your bun? No matter what I do, eventually some time during the day it falls off the back, and I have to redo it.

This is exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned trying it with two scarves! Love it and thank you for the shout-out. ❤

  3. It’s beautiful! I love how easy it looks too – and you are right – it would look really beautiful having it drape down as well. 🙂 I am going to try this for tomorrows head covering. Thank you for sharing this with us!

    Hmmm
    Divine Knott(s)?
Knotts Over You? (Play on words there, too! (Nuts over you))
    Knott again!
    Knott Me over!
    Hmmm…

So how long to get the knots all the way across your head. I used 2 pashmina type scarves, tied them so I had one long end and just enough to tie behind my head, and the knots still only went half way across my head! maybe my bun is too high??

p.s.-the knots on only one side did look kinda awesome, but my head kept wanting to tip over!

What a beautiful wrap! I’m on vacation and only brought square tichels with me, but I can’t wait to go home and try this! It’ll be great for work!
