What kind of head wrap should one wear to a wedding? And epic one!
This style is an elegant waterfall twist wrap with the new sash that I featured last week thrown in for extra wow power! I put my bun/volumizer much higher than usual to give it extra height. Here it is from the side:

And since many of you have been asking me to do full outfit posts as well as headwraps… this next shot is for you! I am still debating whether or not I want to post my clothing choices because this site is about hair wrapping, not modest fashion (there are many ladies on here that wrap their hair and do not dress like I do) but I know it can sometimes be hard to match wraps with outfits. Disclaimer: I am not a fashionista in the least and it is hard to take self shots of outfits! But for what it’s worth, here I am wearing a floor length silk dress ($8 thrift store sale yeah!) and a purple shell underneath:

I wish I’d taken a picture of the wrap I just did for a cousin’s wedding this weekend! Maybe I’ll redo it, and share with you. 🙂 Better late than never, right? Thank you for sharing with us all these ideas. It’s helped so much, since I just started covering. I have to admit, though, that there are days I wish you were nearby to host classes!

I, too, would be very interested if you decided to help us learn how to put clothes together. I’m an older woman but still have much to learn in that area. I’m not very good at layering but I see that it is what women are doing now. I’m not sure if there are any rules or not. If you decide to do a webinar or an article, I’ll be part of the class!

About the clothing issue – I just would really appreciate if you shared your general take on mixing colours and patterns. That does not mean that you’d have to change your wrapping blog into a blog on clothing! 🙂

Very elegant and I agree with the other comments about posting either an article or a video just for us to get an idea of what TO wear and what NOT to wear when mixing colors and patterns with the wraps .

Lovely wrap and dress! great deal too! Along with everyone else I too would like to see what colours you put together to make an outfit. I feel like I can’t wear a shirt because I do not have a scarf that colour.
